I decided to run for Mayor because I believe Erin needs strong leadership and a clear vision for the future. Our community is at an important crossroads. We need a mayor who can bring people together, make informed decisions, listens to residents, and ensure growth happens responsibly while protecting the charm that makes Erin special. I believe I can provide that leadership.

I have spent years building relationships throughout our community as a lifelong resident, business owner, community volunteer, founding member of the Erin Chamber of Commerce, and volunteer firefighter. These experiences have taught me how to manage budgets, solve problems, work as a team, and deliver results while staying accountable to the people I serve.

Growth is inevitable, but it must be planned properly. Development should only move forward when roads, wastewater, schools, emergency services, and recreation facilities are ready to support it. Growth should improve our community, not strain it.

Residents deserve to know what their council is doing and why decisions are being made. I support:later public town hall meetings that residents can actually attend.Simplified summaries of council decisions.Robust Communication policy for emergency and road closure events.Greater notice for public meetings and information sessions..Better communication through both online and in-person engagement.

Young families are choosing Erin because it's a wonderful place to live. We need to ensure they have access to parks, recreation, quality roads, emergency services, schools, and community programs without placing an unfair financial burden on existing taxpayers.

The Mayor is one member of Council and must work collaboratively with other elected officials and staff as they are a team. I believe respectful discussion, listening to different perspectives, and focusing on solutions leads to better decisions for everyone.

Municipal elections in Ontario are non-partisan. My only priority is making decisions that are in the best interests of all of the residents of Erin regardless of their political views. Everyone has an equal voice in our town.
